About LocalCloud Inc.
LocalCloud Inc. builds LocalCloud, a local Google Cloud emulator. One Docker container serves 25 Google Cloud services on localhost, so you can develop and test Google Cloud code without a GCP account, credentials, or a cloud bill.
Who it's for
- Developers who want BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Spanner, Cloud Storage and the rest of their stack on their own machine.
- CI pipelines that run integration tests against real Google Cloud SDK calls without a shared test project.
- AI coding agents that need a local Google Cloud target with no credentials or billing project. See the agent guide.
Pricing and license
LocalCloud is free during the public preview, with no account or license key. Open-source projects stay free after the preview ends. Use is governed by the proprietary LocalCloud Public Preview License Agreement; pricing and the licensing summary explain what it permits.
Where it's built
LocalCloud's public home on GitHub is the LocalGCloud organization. It hosts the CLI and its signed releases, the Homebrew tap, and the source of this website. The runtime image is published on Docker Hub. Release history is on the changelog, and the security page shows how to verify what you install.
